{Number 4}....do you see it, I love that number and that kid. This weekend we were invited to play in a baseball tournament with the Slammers. It is not our team but Jaden has gotten to be really good friends with the players and the coaches of this team and he loves it. We played on Saturday and were a little rusty, it's been a couple of months since #4 has seen live pitching, we tied our first game against Dixie 4-4. Who leaves a game in a tie? There should always be a winner. The next game we lost 7-2 against the Box Elder Bulldawgs. We didn't show up this game. We had a little break on Sunday so me and the little man decided to hang around and soak up some of the wonderful St. George sunshine. Paddington the movie was also on the agenda. Monday we played the Solar which our CV ace pitcher was pitching for. We beat them in a really good game 4-3, the boys played great and #4 got in some good swings. The last game of the tournament we met back up with the Bulldawgs and walked away with the win 8-4. Jaden pitched this game and he threw really good and also got a couple of hits. I have promised myself that I am going to record his SENIOR baseball season because this is it people....and so the game and this lifestyle will end for #4. It's sad, but it is also how it goes. We had a great weekend, keep it up buddy. I love the relationships that are built in team sports, so many life lessons are learned on the field.
