{Christmas Eve}....would not be complete without this movie. Jaden waited all day for this to come on, and then we watched it about 3 times. It cracks Jaden up and I was happy to see a smile on his face. Christmas brings a lot of happiness to my home.....

{Twas the night before Christmas}.....the little man had lots of things to do before Santa Claus came. Feeding the reindeer was right up there on his list, he made sure (about 5 times) that they had plenty of food on the lawn. The little man also made a couple of gingerbread play dough cookies to leave for Santa. He decorated gingerbread houses, wrote a letter to Santa and then just had to set and wait for it all to happen. The little man loves holidays, and it is so much fun to see the excitement in his shiny little eyes.....

{I can't believe that}.....one more Christmas has come and gone. Christmas was a success at our house this year. The boys were more than excited at all the presents Santa left them. Jaxen couldn't believe that everything on the couch was his. Jaden loved his binoculars and cool case he got, he also was stoked about all the clothes and new cologne that Santa left him. Tonight on his way out the door to the movies he was pretty sure that Santa had left him a hot girl down there waiting for him at the movies. I forgot to ask him when he got home, however I really wasn't to worried. This Christmas, for some reason really made me realize how fortunate my family is, for all the love and giving that is presented every year. Thanks to everyone who made our Christmas special. Now on to a SPECTACULAR 2012....may it be as good to me as 2011 was.

My family makes me smile....I love them.

{The stockings are hung}....and filled. The hyper sugar-eating children are finally nestled all snug in their beds (where I should be). The presents are wrapped and under the tree. Santa should be here any minute. Bring on Christmas Vacation......

Can't wait for a couple of days, relaxing and loving my family....

{Ready or not here I come}.....for some crazy reason this is what I feel like every year. Every year I tell myself that I am going to be ready a week before so that I can enjoy the season and then BAM, all the sudden it is here. I love the holidays and everything it brings with it, even if it means crazy busy.

{Cold snowy days}.....means a whole lot of this. My kids are digging hot chocolate this year and can't wait every night for me to whip them up some.

{I am sure that we are all guilty}.....of this to some degree. Parenting is tough. Sometimes we forget how hurtful words are.

{I love you}....and all of your imaginary dogs, pigs and sheep. I really wish they would quit making such a mess.

{I really love this time of year}....I know I have a lot to be grateful for and sometimes I take things for granted. I try to do better and be better every year.

{This is one kid}....that hates being cold, so when he woke up and saw the snow this morning and he couldn't wait to go shobel(that is what he calls it) I was really surprised. He didn't last long and he had to have 5 layers on plus the awesome googles so his eyes wouldn't get cold. His concept of shoveling snow is getting it off the grass and onto the sidewalk, this made his dad's work a little harder when he got home but he sure thought he helped out. Love my little man....

{I was thinking}....that maybe this would be a good look for family pictures, it really helps with the wrinkles around my eyes.
