{I had just about talked myself}....out of doing a big Birthday Party for the little man. Then it hit me, cmon girl this is what you like to do, you like being stressed to the max planning it down to every little detail, spending to much money and trying to create pleasant memories for the kiddos. So here I am in the middle of planning his party and OH MAN, I have to much fun and sometimes go a little overboard. He wanted an airplane party and so a vintage airplane party it is little man. He wasn't feeling pictures today, and realistically hardly ever feeling pictures anymore but we went anyway....ENJOY. He is so freaking cute, even if he test my patience a million trillion times a day. Life is Good.....

{Seriously}....i love her, she makes me smile. She is sassy and funny and beautiful. Dangit, I really needed a little girl in my life, like a real live one that could live with us. I would do her hair and take wonderful pictures of her and I bet she would have loved to go shopping, heaven knows the little man don't. I had a crazy one of those wake you up from a dead sleep type of dreams the other night. You know the kind that I am talking about? The ones that haunt you and stay with you for like ever. I really am not going to go into details because it was so real and personal that it still gives me chills. Dreams, what are they and where do they come from? I still am thinking about it a week later, is there some reality to dreams....not sure. I do know that sometimes we wish things could have been different, that paths in our lives could have led us to a different destination. Life is weird...

{Kid Movies}.... are you a fan, or do you just watch them because your kiddos like them? I find that I am pretty critical of kid movies, lately though there have been some really GOOD ones. Me and the little man have frequently been going the movies. In the last few weeks we have seen the Box Trolls, Annie (which was awesome), Big Hero Six, Penguins, and Paddington just to name a few. I have enjoyed most of the them, the Box Trolls graphics and animation was fabulous, but a little over the top. The little man LOVVVED Paddington.  I ended buying Box Trolls and we watched it again tonight, the Diet Dr. Pepper (my guilty pleasure) and the popcorn made it worthwhile.

{Number 4}....do you see it, I love that number and that kid. This weekend we were invited to play in a baseball tournament with the Slammers. It is not our team but Jaden has gotten to be really good friends with the players and the coaches of this team and he loves it. We played on Saturday and were a little rusty, it's been a couple of months since #4 has seen live pitching, we tied our first game against Dixie 4-4. Who leaves a game in a tie? There should always be a winner. The next game we lost 7-2 against the Box Elder Bulldawgs. We didn't show up this game. We had a little break on Sunday so me and the little man decided to hang around and soak up some of the wonderful St. George sunshine. Paddington the movie was also on the agenda. Monday we played the Solar which our CV ace pitcher was pitching for. We beat them in a really good game 4-3, the boys played great and #4 got in some good swings. The last game of the tournament we met back up with the Bulldawgs and walked away with the win 8-4. Jaden pitched this game and he threw really good and also got a couple of hits. I have promised myself that I am going to record his SENIOR baseball season because this is it people....and so the game and this lifestyle will end for #4. It's sad, but it is also how it goes. We had a great weekend, keep it up buddy. I love the relationships that are built in team sports, so many life lessons are learned on the field.

{Let me tell you a little}....something about this boy, if you know him well then you know what  I am talking about. He is a stubborn, strong-willed little man, he doesn't like to be told what to do and will always figure out what to do by himself. He is extremely smart, his goal is to learn all the states, their capitals, their flags and their shape by the time he gets out of first grade. I have a feeling he will do it. He studies them for over an hour every night and is getting really good at them. He kind of likes to cheat to win. I haven't been able to figure out why he always wins at OLD MAID, I mean he never draws it. Tonight, I was going through the cards and realized he as marked the back of the card with pen so he knew not to draw that one. Kind of smart, but sneeky. No wonder this is his game of choice. He is obsessed with reading and gets his little flashlight out and reads when it gets dark. He is kind of a hard personality, I love it and hate it all at the same time. Just give me strength that we can raise him right....

Look at those eyes....he takes one look at me and I give in. It's starting to become a problem, he has me wrapped. Shot with my new camera....i am in LOVE.

{Christmas Break}....has been nothing short of perfect. Staying up way to late watching movies and sleeping in way to long has been happening alot. Me and the kids took a couple of days and went to my mom's house to visit. I love going over there and relaxing, the little man gets to play and hang out with his cousins. We have ate way to much and exercised almost none. Time to get back at it. We took a day and went sledding, it was super cold (18 degrees), and the little man didn't tell me he had a hole in his glove until we were done and I was worried that he had frostbite on that finger. Luckily it got feeling better. Here's to a Happy New Year.....
