{I guess lucky for us}........we get the luxury of one month or a little longer off of baseball every year. The other 10 and 1/2 months we play and we play and we play a little more. Good thing I love baseball or I would have a long 10 months every year. This past weekend we got the chance to play at the Dream Field in Vegas. Jaden was so excited and kept googling on the internet so he could look at the fields. The have made replicas of all the major league fields, I will admit it was pretty cool. This was Jaden's first tournament on the High School Field and wow I can't believe what a difference 10 feet makes on a field. Our team did pretty good, they won a couple of games and made it into the semi-finals and then got beat by a California High School team. The weather was awesome and what a great way to spend some good quality family time.....love it!

{Love you boys}.....my two crazy kiddos. I can't believe how much you kiddos love each other. You guys play together, fight together, pick on mom together and wrestle your dad together. Watching, you would never believe that 11 years seperate you. I love to see the special bond that has been created between brothers and I am so grateful that Jaden has the oppurtunity to have a special little guy to hang out with and create memories with.

{I really can't believe}.......that Christmas has come and gone. I love Christmas and the holidays and as I was taking down my tree the other day it kind of made me sad that it was over for one more year. There were many things that I had wanted to do with my kids over the holidays that I never had time for. On the other hand, we had a great Christmas this year. A few years ago we decided that staying home and starting traditions with our own little family would be fun. I always make a big Christmas Eve dinner, we read christmas books, play UNO, and watch the Christmas Story. This year was really fun because Jaxen was so excited for Santa to come, he was very dissapointed that there was no snow and he was kind of worried that maybe Santa wouldn't make it. He set out his cookies and milk and put oatmeal on the lawn for the wingdeer (that's what he calls them). Jaden didn't really want to go to bed and he thinks he is old enough to stay up and help out, however he finally crashed and they both slept until about 9:oo the next morning. Jaxen was so excited to see all the stuffs that Santa had brought him, that is what he was asking for, all the stuffs. He scored this year getting about everything you can imagine. Jaden also scored, he got the new bat he was asking for, some new metal cleats, a new mitt, some clothes, video games and a few other things. Santa really pulled through for him this year. Christmas Day was just kind of mellow, we went over to the in-laws and had breakfast and then just came home and hung out for the rest of the day. I am so grateful that we have a great kids, a nice house and a chance to provide a great christmas for our kids. I hope we all have a great 2011......
