i can't believe that christmas has come and gone....we had a great christmas this year both of my boys were really excited for santa to come and they both ended up getting everything they wanted and then some....jaxen was really fun this year he loved opening up his presents and he really really likes christmas music.....every night for like a week before christmas the boys and i would go for a ride and look at the lights and listen to christmas music....my favorite christmas song is O Holy Night and i would sing it and start to get emotional because this song reminds me so much of my grandpa....big strong man that he was would sing this song with such emotion i just loved it when he used to sing it to us.....i hope that everyone had a MERRY CHRISTMAS and that the new year brings much happiness..

i think that you are a great son.....i love that you have a passion for life and put your whole heart into the things that you love....i don't love so much the fact that you have a one-track mind and once you start thinking about something or start something you cannot move on with out having it accomplished ( you inevitably get this trait from me) it can be good and bad....i love that you are a good brother and when you little brother tries to beat up on you, you say to him, if you weren't my brother and you were older i would take you down....i love that you choose good friends that are a good influence....i love that you like to hang out with your dad and you always have a plan....i love that you are excited for christmas and when you started counting down the days until christmas (like 2 months ago) you only counted the school days and not the weekend days (this really made you mad)...i love the fact that i get to be your mom and that you are so good to your family.....love mom....

dear santa...

dear santa for christmas this year my list is pretty long, i really need a new set of pots and pans, i have been really hard on my mom's pans this year....i would also like some new books i love to read and i think my family is getting sick of reading the same books a hundred times a day...i really would love some new blocks, i am really good at stacking them tall and then knocking them down and it seems like i have lost a few of my blocks in my playing....last but not least i would really really love my own kitchen, i love my mom's kitchen so much, love to crawl up on her oven put my books in there so she can cook them for dinner....if i had my own kitchen maybe i could leave my mom's alone....hope you get my list love jaxen black

here comes santa claus here comes santa claus....i love christmas and i especially love the fact that i am completely done shopping, now if i can just make myself stay out of the stores....

for those of you out there no my blog is not screwed up, i changed the width of my pictures so i could see them big....on my wide screen format computer it looks great, on a standard desktop computer the blog looks big and cuts pictures off...FYI

jaxen i can't believe that you are pushing two years old already, where has the time gone....you are so much fun to be around and even though you love my pots and pans and things are never in their place i still don't want you to grow any older or bigger....i love you just the way you are, with your new little pouty lips and all..

as much as i love baseball it as been really nice to have a much needed break....they have still been practicing a lot but it is nice to have time to do other stuff....it won't be long until they will be in the full swing of things again....

thanksgiving.....

i can't believe that thanksgiving is over and christmas is right around the corner...when i was young it seemed like you would wait forever for christmas to get here...now as an adult ready or not it alway's seems to creep up on you...we had a fun thanksgiving this year....ate lots of yummy food, traveled, visited with family and played with the kids....i am so thankful for the awesome family i have and even though i don't get to see them enough it is fun to hang out with them...i can't believe that i didn't take one picture of thanksgiving this year...
