you know there is a lot to be said about having kids when you are a little bit older in life...jaxen had his first choking incident this weekend,
he found a dime picked it up popped it in his mouth before i could get to it...needless to say he started to choke on it...turned a little blue...coughed a little and then acted like nothing had happened...i gave him a little water and the day went on no big deal...with the first child twelve years ago this would have put me in panic mode..call 911..trip to the emergency room the whole nine yards...i love the fact that i am so relaxed with jaxen i just think you enjoy life so much more!

fun baseball weekend....

what a great weekend we had, the weather was awesome the baseball

kids played great and we had a really good time.... can't ask for more than that!!

oh baby.....

this little beauty is the reason we will be eating top ramen for the rest of the month...oh the price we pay for just the RIGHT bat...many hours were spent on the computer looking for just the right bat, I didn' t really know that an 11 year old would know so much about a bat, how much pop it has, how good the grip is
how big it needs to be.....much thought goes into the purchase of a BAT... i thought i could walk into a sports store and pick out the coolest one and bring it home.....THAT'S not how it works.....for those of you who have kid's in baseball a GOOD bat does it all for you...anyway that's Jaden's theory...glad it got here just in time March Madness, hope it works for you bud....GO CRUSH!!

hurry up spring....

not enough time in the day...

here i sit at my computer once again with a million other things

i should be doing...1a.m. in the morning, laundry everywhere from

2 sick kids with the stomach flu...still i sit at my computer losing

myself in the one thing i love.....scrapbooking, making sure I will

remember my children's childhood writing it down, taking pictures..

PRESERVING things..love it love it love it

small things in life...

This week has been pretty hectic at our house...jaxen can't

seem to get over this sickness he has had, jaden's been grounded

all week and driving me crazy and high school baseball just started

(derek coaches) needless to say there has not been a lot of time

to do my own stuff....however as I sat down tonight and was rocking

my baby, Jaden was asleep on the couch and as I looked at my boy's I

realized that we need to treasure the little things in life because they

won't always be there....enjoy what we have been given and make the

most out of it....2009

jaxen my little man, what a little handful you have become...you

have got the cutest little personality always busy and wanting to

get into everything....don't you know that i like to keep a clean

house but everywhere you go there is a mess....to bad it don't last

can't get enough of my boys.....

i wished that i would have met you sooner than i did, that way i could have loved you longer than i have..... because loving you was what i was meant to spend my life doing..
