{Happy Birthday}....little man. Can it be possible that you just turned "4".
You were so excited for your birthday this year. It started like a pretty normal day, you slept in (which is your favorite thing to do), you got McDonald's pancakes which don't happen very often but you sure do love them, you played with a couple of your new toys, and you layed around and watched a little TV.
Then on to the fun stuff, your birthday pirate party. You had all kinds of fun pirate loot at your party, lots of friends and cousins came, you opened and got alot of fun presents, and you were so excited that Grandpa and Grandma Ellett made it. I thought that you had died and gone to heaven when you seem their truck pull into the drive. You had so much fun at your party and you really loved the Kindle Fire that you got from us.
This could or could not be a fabulous babysitter....the problem is limiting the time on it. I hope that you had a wonderful 4th birthday and even though you test my patience a million times a day, I am so glad that you are mine.....

{Pretty sure the conversation went something like this}.....
Jaxen: Comes out of his room itching under his arm and his belly.
Me: What's the problem, why are you itchy?
Jaxen: Fleas, definetely fleas.
Me: Really, I don't think so.
Jaxen: Do you know what fleas are?
Me: Yes.
Jaxen: Little pests that bite you and suck your blood.
Me: I am pretty sure that only dogs get fleas.
Jaxen: Well then I must be a dog.
Funny little man, with quite the imagination.

{So...I know it has been awhile}..wish I could say that I have been on an awesome vacation or something fabulous, really more like just being lazy but it is time to get back on the ball.
