{So...I know it has been awhile}..wish I could say that I have been on an awesome vacation or something fabulous, really more like just being lazy but it is time to get back on the ball. {Christmas Eve}....would not be complete without this movie. Jaden waited all day for this to come on, and then we watched it about 3 times. It cracks Jaden up and I was happy to see a smile on his face. Christmas brings a lot of happiness to my home.....

{Twas the night before Christmas}.....the little man had lots of things to do before Santa Claus came. Feeding the reindeer was right up there on his list, he made sure (about 5 times) that they had plenty of food on the lawn. The little man also made a couple of gingerbread play dough cookies to leave for Santa. He decorated gingerbread houses, wrote a letter to Santa and then just had to set and wait for it all to happen. The little man loves holidays, and it is so much fun to see the excitement in his shiny little eyes.....

{I can't believe that}.....one more Christmas has come and gone. Christmas was a success at our house this year. The boys were more than excited at all the presents Santa left them. Jaxen couldn't believe that everything on the couch was his. Jaden loved his binoculars and cool case he got, he also was stoked about all the clothes and new cologne that Santa left him. Tonight on his way out the door to the movies he was pretty sure that Santa had left him a hot girl down there waiting for him at the movies. I forgot to ask him when he got home, however I really wasn't to worried. This Christmas, for some reason really made me realize how fortunate my family is, for all the love and giving that is presented every year. Thanks to everyone who made our Christmas special. Now on to a SPECTACULAR 2012....may it be as good to me as 2011 was.

{The stockings are hung}....and filled. The hyper sugar-eating children are finally nestled all snug in their beds (where I should be). The presents are wrapped and under the tree. Santa should be here any minute. Bring on Christmas Vacation......

Every year I tell myself that I am going to be ready a week before so that I can enjoy the season and then BAM, all the sudden it is here. {This is one kid}....that hates being cold, so when he woke up and saw the snow this morning and he couldn't wait to go shobel(that is what he calls it) I was really surprised. He didn't last long and he had to have 5 layers on plus the awesome googles so his eyes wouldn't get cold. His concept of shoveling snow is getting it off the grass and onto the sidewalk, this made his dad's work a little harder when he got home but he sure thought he helped out. Love my little man....

{For the last couple of years}....my mom and dad have done a Halloween Party for the kids since they don't get to see them on Halloween. It was really fun this year and both of the boys were really excited to go spend a couple of days. Jaden was able to hunt over there with his uncles and he shot a little buck. Jaxen talked about going to grandma's for over a week. The party was fun the kids started by trick or treating to a few houses that knew we were coming. Then we headed back to house and had a cupcake walk to fun halloween music, played bingo, decorated pumpkins with stickers and ate mummy dogs. I love that my mom and dad oo fun things with the grandkids, Jaxen is still talking about how much fun he had....

{St. George Marathon}....I usually don't post real personal stuff on my blog, because of the whole private who reads what blogs and so forth, however since I use this blog for a journal, I guess I can put whatever I want to on it RIGHT....so here, goes St. George Marathon (or any marathon) for that matter is one of the most mentally tough things you can do. This year was hard for me, because I had pneumonia the first part of the summer and decided that the I was out for the marathon. Middle part of August I started feeling pretty good and decided that I still had a few weeks left to train, so once again decided that I wanted to do it. During this time one of my sisters was still training and planning on running so I was stoked, 2 weeks later started getting a pain in my heel that hurt so bad I had to limp out of bed in the mornings, once again I found myself a little bit frustrated because it was getting closer to the day. I eventually started getting some relief from my heel so the group of girls decided to run a 20 miler down the canyon, it was so awesome but I ended up hurting my toe on this run and was in major pain for about 2 weeks, ran the canyon half-marathon on my hurt toe and ended up being in a bad way for the marathon. However, since I had already made up my mind to run nothing was going to stop me and so here we are to Oct. 1, 2011 (MARATHON DAY). Nervous, because I had never gone into a marathon knowingly with an injury. We boarded the bus, anticipation huge, people everywhere some their first time not knowing what to expect, me knowing the pure amazing hell that I was about to experience. The starting line of the marathon is amazing 1000's of people everywhere waiting for the big moment when the horn finally blows. My little sis and I started off together and she rocked her first marathon, I was so proud of her and she pulled me through the last 5 miles when every step I took felt like I was stepping on nails. The weather was super hot and it was so hard, but even though I ran my slowest time I am so glad that I did it and finished.....Bring it on Las Veges December 3rd, that is if the toe is healed by then...

{He informed me today}....that the monkey is here to stay. I was pretty sure that I had put that costume up where he would never find it, but as we were going through some things he spotted it and sure enough it he wore the blasted thing all day long. I guess at least he is a cute little monkey.

{You totally rocked the first}.....day of HIGH SCHOOL. I really can't believe the day is here. You made it and found all your classes even if a couple of them took you longer to find, you made it all the way across town to the welding class you just had to take. I am pretty sure that you kissed up to most of your new teachers because that is just how you are. The best thing about it is you get to come home for lunch every day so Jaxen won't worry about you as much. I am so proud of you and hope you have a FaBuLouS 9th grade year....

{Go for the GOLD}.....Hillsports snagged the gold medal in the Summer Games this year. They had some great competition and played really well. This group of boys are such great friends and have so much fun playing together, we will really miss it when we move onto high school baseball this coming year.

Brink man broke his thumb Friday night and still managed to pitch a shut-out game in the championship.

Who knows what these two are discussing.

{With spring}.....comes little league. Since once again I get the great privilege of doing pictures for the national league I get to witness first-hand the wonders of little league. Every year kids show up some with sweet expensive bats that parents have been working hard for and then other kids show up with their older brothers bat all taped up and hammered, but who cares as long as you can hit the ball. Some kids come in nice new baseball pants that have never been worn until opening day and other more laid back kids come in shorts hoping that coach won't make them slide. There is something about this time of year that makes me smile, even though we play year round baseball, it is fun when the kids get to play against each other to see who will come out on top. I will really miss the major league this year since Jaden moved up to the junior field, the old Outlaw Trucking team isn't quite the same without Brink and Jaden. Lots of dinners at the snack shak, lights coming on the fields when the sun starts to go down, great friendships being made between coaches and players and the sound of a bat hitting the ball over the fence, can't beat it.....I love it!

{Easter 2011}........we all headed home to Mom and Dads house this year. The whole crew got together and just hung out all weekend. We were going to go on a picnic but it seems like the bad weather this year is just hanging on and when it started to snow we decided to stay at the house and have the easter egg hunt and picnic there. The kids had a great time and there was about 400 eggs to go hunting for. Jaden was only interested in finding the golden egg so Hunter and him only went in search of it because the knew it had a twenty dollar bill in it, they made a deal and decided that if either one of them found it they would split the money between the two of them, Jaden ended up finding the golden egg and ended up giving Hunter half the money. Jaxen loved the egg hunt he ran all over the place picking up eggs and sharing with all the other kiddos. I am so glad that I come from a great family, that we can all hang out and make great memories with each other. THANKS dad and mom for the great weekend.....

{Of course the carnival}......has to park just right down the street, so every time I go into town we get to pass it and the little man thought it looked fun. I thought that he would be scared to go on the big ferris wheel, but he loved it and when we would get to the top he would stand up and use his eye scopes to try and find our house. The owner of the carnival thought Jaxen was really cute and gave him 40 tickets (60 dollar value) which Jaden and his friends thought was awesome. Jaxen is at the age right now where he gets excited about everything. Jaxen is so funny, the last few nights he has wanted fish sticks and coke for dinner, quite the combination seeing that I don't think I have ever made that for dinner.

{Finally}.....after what seemed like a long winter we have a couple of nice warm days and the little man ends up with a horrible allergic reaction to something (still not sure what). It was pretty scary because it all came on in a matter of about ten minutes. These pictures were taken after a trip to the ER where he had to get a shot and a few other medicines. Not looking much better today but hopefully tomorrow it will start to settle down. Thank heavens for TANGLED, he has watched that about 3 times today out of the slit of one eye. Never ends with kids but sure glad I have him.

{Obsessed with tags}.....in all the 14 years of being a mom, I can honestly say that my kids have never had an obsession with a favorite blanket or toy, they really haven't even had any bad habits. But you little man are obsessed with tags. Tags of any sort, your shirts, your pants, the rags in the tub, the tags on the blankets. You are constantly rubbing, twisting and sticking your little fingers through them. Most ot the time I can't get you out of your carseat because your finger is stuck in the tag. Oh, what to do with you......

{Way to go}.....Hillsports. We had baseball this weekend and wow the boys played awesome. We won all 4 games in pool play and only gave up 8 runs, which seeded us #1 going into the semi-finals. We got beat 5-7 by the Idaho Sun Devils who ended up winning the whole tournament. I can't believe that we only have one more season until high-school baseball starts, where does the time go?
